Junior Tennis Camps
The Fun Starts Here
Junior Tennis Camps offer five action-packed hours of tennis each day. Focusing on developing player technique and shot play through a mix of drills, games and match play. The final camp day features round robin, age-specific matches.
Available at Park Sports Hyde Park, The Regent's Park, Greenwich Park, Chiswick and Lammas Park.
We develop each child's balance, speed and coordination
We use coach-led drills and rallies to improve children's skills. Camps will cover various types of shot, with a different focus each day and tactics, problem-solving, and guides thrown in to aid learning.
Kids are taught in age and ability groups
Park Sports partners with highly experienced, self-employed LTA qualified tennis coaches, with camps catering to all, so no one gets left behind. Every day, kids will be active, having fun and developing skills!
Coaches are experts at using varied teaching styles to retain each child's interest.
Camps are held between 10am-3pm Greenwich Park is at 10am-2pm.
Camp Schedule
Camp schedules will vary each day, with a focus on a specific stroke or technique and matches at the end of the camp.
Day 1 - Forehand
- Forehand technique, use of spin
- Coordination, footwork and movement.
Day 2 - Backhand
- Backhand technique, groundstroke consistency, racket head speed, footwork and movement.
Day 3 - Serve and Return
- Ball toss and serve technique, serve variations using spin and power, return of serve.
Day 4 - Volley and Smash
- Forehand and backhand volleys, overhead smash preparation and technique, combination drills.
Day 5 - Tournament Day
- Age-specific round robin matches
