• Greet customers, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
• Manage court, pitch, and course bookings, including handling enquiries and cancellations.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues in person, via phone and via email.
• Write and respond to emails professionally and in a timely manner, addressing enquiries and other administrative tasks.
• Perform spreadsheet work, to include accurate data entry.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility, including common areas, changing rooms and on court.

• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
  

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.

• Proficient in using email and spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Google sheets).

• Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant General Manager at Park Sports Hyde Park. The ideal candidate will possess excellent management and customer service skills, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day management of the centre alongside the General Manager (GM) and covering the GM during absence.
• Organising staff rotas/timesheets.
• Support and contribute to the delivery of Park Sports vision, mission and values.
• Assist the GM to drive and achieve KPI’s, including customer service, revenue targets, payroll costs and participation levels.
• Following Health & Safety procedures and requirements, fixing or escalating issues as appropriate.
• Help lead and develop a high performing team through effective people management, development and retention.
• Manage court, pitch and course bookings, including handling enquiries and cancellations

We are looking to recruit a Cafe Manager at Hyde Park to join a well-established team which has a great working culture and value their people. As café manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of café operations, from staff management, menu development and customer service.

Park Sports Hyde Park offers facilities to play a variety of sports including Tennis (7 floodlit courts), Padel (1 floodlit court), Football (1 floodlit AstroTurf 5-a-side), Netball, Lawn Bowls and Table Tennis. We also have a Café and sports retail shop where you can buy the latest Tennis and Padel rackets, balls and equipment.

The Café is open all year round from 7am until 9pm – Monday to Sunday serving a selection of barista style coffees, pizza, salads, sandwiches and a large selection of bakery items. The ideal candidate will possess excellent management and customer service skills, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Day to day management of the Café, including opening and closing procedures.
• Organising staff rotas/timesheets.
• Recruitment, training and managing the performance of the team through ongoing evaluations, listening and mentoring.
• To continuously work towards improving sales and service.
• Managing inventory and ordering to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
• To ensure the customer experience is always maintained to the highest standard
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility.
• Support and contribute to the delivery of Park Sports vision, mission and values

• Proven experience as a Café Manager or similar role.
• Experience on inventory, stock control and staff scheduling
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Proficiency in POS systems and other relevant software
